Man of the Moment

Over the past few Winter Olympics, short track speed skating has become one of my favorite events. Not only do they wear slick outfits and cool helmets, but the high speed jockeying that goes on during the race makes it one of the most thrilling few minutes in sports.

It doesn't hurt that most of them are hot and have killer legs. My Man of the Moment happens to be JR Celski, another mixed race star, whose father is Polish and his mother, Filipino. Sorry, Apollo, but you're now yesterday's news.

You Can't Be Serious!

You gotta be kidding me? A few local business men in Minnesota paid to put this up. Is it a joke or they really serious? What's to miss - the starting of two wars, the destruction of the economy or the tarnishing of our image abroad? No wonder they wanted to remain anonymous.

Just another sign America has lost it way. Easier to blame someone else than those who are truly responsible - the politicians and the people who put them in office (yes, the American voters).

Inappropriate or Not?

I am getting flack at work from my manager for this photo which I have up on my wall near my desk. He thinks it's inappropriate for the work place.

I asked him what about the Dick Cheney photo my real boss has on his desk - the one with him in his hunting gear, and shotgun (probably taken after he shot one of his friends in the face)? He just gave me that look of his and walked away. Asshole can kiss my ass!
