When it Rains it Pours

It's funny how the frenzy over healthcare has produced a host of Republican sharks trying to use the issue to derail the Obama Presidency. Read the newspaper, listen to the radio or watch the TV News and all you hear is how the President is under seige for "trying to do too much - too quickly". Like the idea of bringing down cost of health care and making it a right for everyone is asking too much. Especially from elected officials who get their own free plan at the expense of taxpayers. Or the health care industry which reported recorded profits in the last year alone. When did it become okay to make obscene profits at the health of someone else?

So while the Republicans campaign to bring Obama to his "Waterloo", and weak-minded Democrats cave into to politics, millions of Americans will go without care, not seek treatment until their conditions get serious which will require only more costly treatment and drive countless numbers of families into bankruptcy because insurance companies won't cover their medical expenses. I should know - I work for an Insurance company.
