What's Cooking?

I like to have some Chinese - but often I'm left wanting more an hour later.

Mexican isn't bad either, but the heart burn can make for a long night.

Soul Food can be sweet too, but it can also be messy at times.

In the end, I guess nothing beats home cooking.

RIP SOCKS!

Socks, the Clinton's White House Cat, passed away in Maryland under the care of Clinton secretary, Bettie Currie, after a bout with throat cancer - my question - did he inhale or was it 2nd hand smoke from Clinton's cigars?

Makes only one wish animals could talk - I'm sure Socks would have lots to talk about!

Racist? Hell, yeah.

Rupert Murdoch and News Corp's NY Post crossed the line by publishing this editorial cartoon. It has offended many, of all races, for its racial overtones. But what offends me most is the paper's response so far.

NY Post Editor Col Allan put out a statement saying the editorial was "obviously a parody". Yeah, right, most of your readers don't even know what a parody is. And then to make it worse, Allan went on to slam Reverend Al Sharpton by stating, "Again Al Sharpton reveals himself as nothing more than a publicity opportunist". This coming from a tabloid rag which lives by the old "if it bleeds it leads" philosophy.

My Weekend in a Few Snap Shots

Spent a few nights on the town toasting Presidents.

Spent some time with a new friend.

Spent some quality time with my Valentine, theMan.

Spent today wondering where all my money went this weekend.

Happy Birthday Abe!

One of my favorite Lincoln Quotes
"You cannot escape the responsiblity of tomorrow by evading it today."

Sometime the Congress and American public need to come to grips with.

The Circus came to town today in our Nation's Capital.

I just wonder how men so cluesless could make it to the top of the corporate ladder. But then again I see it everyday at work as its "who you know" not "what you know" that gets you ahead in corporate America.

Say It Ain't So!

It wasn't a good weekend for two of America's Studs.

Funny how things can change so quickly - from the top of the world to the middle of a fire storm.

Sucks being famous - yeah right!

Winner of the Week

When sitting down and trying to work with the Congressional GOP on the stimulus deal got him no where, the President fired back at them for pushing for more tax cuts for the wealthy and big business. Now its reported a deal has been struck and Senate will pass the bill.

The President comes out the obvious winner because the GOP has no alternative plan accept the one that got us into this mess.

Thursday's Teaser

With the weekend only a day away, one always hopes this is the weekend one meets the man of his dreams and has the best night of sex with.

Then again a simple night of sex would be good enough.

Just When You Thought It Was Safe

It didn't take long for Dick to rattle the cage with his ominous predictions we will be hit by another terrorist attack because of the President's decision to do things differently than his predecessor.

Sorry, Dick, you're just not that scary anymore.

Terrible Tuesday

Another politician caught in the "I gotcha game" they play in Washington.

Besides thinking how could you not pay your taxes, the President must have been thinking "How could I pick a guy with glasses like that?"

Super Weekend

Nothing like the Super Bowl to take one's mind off today's problems, at least for a day. Baseball may be America's Favorite Pastime, but Football is America's Favorite sport!
